Mickey Saturday! :)

After reading Jeanette's blog during the week, i got to kn dat a Mickey Mouse Cafe has opened at the newly-revamped Anchorpoint! ;) So i made Bebe promise me to bring me there this wkend to reward me for being a "good mommy" this week! *hahaha!!*

It was really easy to locate the cafe as it was juz at the entrance of Anchorpoint, plus there were alot of kids inside & many colourful balloons & decorations all over! ;) And it was FULL HOUSE!! So we left our number behind with the waitress before we continued exploring the rest of the shopping mall.


Bebe & i noticed dat there were several factory outlets for Giordano, G2000, Charles & Keith, etc. where their prices were slashed by so much dat they were drawing big crowds! There were also restaurants like Jack's Place, Secret Recipe & yet-to-be-completed TCC! :)

We continued to explore the basement level & there i found my "home" -- my Hello Kitty shop!!! :D

The Hello Kitty car accessories were going at 10% discount, but Bebe & i dun own a car, sooo.... skip dat! :p (I tink Bebe is secretly happy dat we dun own a car right nw, or else it's gonna be a PINK Hello Kitty car with stickers all over & with Hello Kitty cushion seats & headrest!! Heehee!)

Anyways i was gettin' really hungry, so we proceeded back to the Mickey Mouse Cafe for our late lunchie. While Bebe went to place our orders, i quickly took some snapshots of the place...

Halfway thru my phototaking, i realised dat the TCS actress Ivy Lee was seated at the table juz next to me! She looks so thin but she's really very, very pretty! :) Her kids were also with her, but i kn dat she's got her own privacy too, so i didn't bug her to take photos with me (anyways, i wld hv looked so FAT beside her now lohz!! Haha!)

And yippee!! Our food came, & this is the "Ratatouille's Receipe" -- clam chowder soup with bread! :)


And the Mickey-shaped pizza Bebe & i shared -- "Pino's Fancy"!! :D So adorable.... i love it!!! ;)


Satisfied with our delicious lunch, we decided to window-shop awhile more before we leave.

And dat's when Daddy Bebe & Mommy Bebe found this adorable blue jumpsuit for our darlin' boy! We're really excited parents aren't we? ;)

Friday Shopping! :)

Juz nw after work i went to visit my fav Hello Kitty shop at OUB Centre cos i wanna buy the Hello Kitty curtain holder/hooks, but to my dismay, they're sold out!!! :( *sobz!* But nvm, the salesgirl said dat the stock might come in again next Tues, so i shall come back to the shop to get them next week!! :D

But, undaunted by my "fruitless" trip, i've bought for myself a Hello Kitty pinboard instead!! ;) Actually i oredi hv a magnetic Pooh Bear board hung up nicely on our bedroom wall, but... but.... look at this Hello Kitty pinboard!! Isn't it even cuter?? :D


And before i went off for my cell group meeting, i saw a stall selling "ProSports" bags, & a particular design caught my eyes cos it looked so adorable with the Elephant, Crocodile & Tortoise printed all over it!! :D So i've decided to buy it for my little baby to put his stuff in it next time! ;)

Growing Big!!

Yday for the 1st time, i put on my new dark green cardigan which i bought from HK in Dec 3mths ago, & to my surprise (or not!), i can't button up my cardi!! Even when i've managed to button up with the 2nd one, it wld "pop out" often! Ohh goshh!! My expanding waistline!! :p



So, out of curiosity, i went to measure myself with my MIL's measuring tape... & i'm horrified (or not, again!) to know dat my tummy is now measuring 34 inches!!! Wow!! How amazing dat God has made our skin to become so elastic & stretch during pregnancy!! :)


Besides growing big physically, i also had to consume alot of pills everyday -- tuna oil pills (with Omega 3), prenatal vitamins (with iron & folic acid), calcium tablets... & last but not least, i've also started to drink Anmum milk powder for pregnant moms as recommended by Eric's wife. But sometimes i really get so lazy & phobic of taking all these pills cos i always hv difficulties swallowing them -- i need to drink at least 3/4 glass to swallow down 1 pill!! & these pills r not small lohz!! I've even vomitted on my iron tablets before dat i've got to ask my gynae to change the iron tablets to another brand :((


And every night/morning, i wld religiously apply the Mustela stretch mark cream on my thighs and tummy. I'm not sure if it really works cos i still see those stretch marks on my thighs, but since this new tube was kindly given to me by Derek's wife who juz gave birth last yr, i'm really grateful to them for their generosity & shall give it a try! :)

Being pregnant has surely brought alot of physical changes to me lately, but i tink it's still a wonderful & worthwhile journey towards motherhood.... i am already looking forward to carrying my tender & beloved baby in my arms soon.... :)

Let the Mommy have a seat, please!

Yday was ever the 1st time dat someone on the train had wanted to give up her seat to me, & she was in fact seated abt 3 seats away from the railing which i was holding on to. I was awfully touched, but since i was only 2 stops away from my destination, i thanked her nicely & said it's ok, i'll be alighting soon.

Well, it's either my tummy at 17 weeks is still too small to be noticed, or it's bcos of my loose dressing, or basically, ppl juz rather "close their eyes" and take no notice of me preggy mummy :-//


This is wat i wore yday to work dat finally grabbed the attention of the kind lady (paiseh, this pic was taken at home last night after my makeup has been removed & i've put on my specs.... i tink i really look very auntie lohh.... sobzz!)




Anyway, let's move on to more happy news... i've juz had my checkup on Monday & Dr. Woo said dat my little one is growing well inside me! Also, he had confidently revealed dat it's gonna be a baby boy!! :) Bebe & i got really excited this time cos we cld see our baby clearly from the scan, & the baby was happily waving his hands and legs!! :D


Overwhelmed by the feeling of soon becoming the proud parents of a baby boy, Bebe & i went to Tiong Bahru Plaza after the checkup & bought our baby's 1st set of clothes -- "I Love Mummy & Daddy"!!! Hahaha!! At least nw we kn we shld buy BLUE or PINK colour lohz!! :p

Astronaut Summer!

Our dear Summer recently developed sores on her paw and neck.... they were red and raw... goshh.... it muz be itchy (or painful?) for her.... :-//

And nw she has become an "Astronaut" cos she's got this cone-like thingy put ard her neck to prevent her from licking/scratching her sores, but she ended up knocking over several things ard the hse as the cone had made her really clumsy!

Singapore Expo Baby Fair & Changi Airport T3

On Good Friday before our evening service, Bebe & i decided to visit the Baby Fair at Singapore Expo Hall to see if there's anything we cld get for our little one who's coming soon in less than 5mths' time :)

And since Yuemei & Andy wanted to go to the Baby Fair too, they have also kindly offered to drive us along, while we wld all then later meet up with Rina, Anthony & their little 9mth old baby boy Jerral at Expo itself ;)

But i must say Bebe & i were abit disappointed dat the Baby Fair sold much fewer range of baby cots & strollers than we expected. We were more interested to get these 2 items 1st rather than anything else, but still, i'm glad Yuemei managed to get a big tube of the Mustela stretch mark cream (which i recommended) at a discounted price! Rina also managed to get some other items too, which i must say she's already a very experienced mom by now to know exactly wat to get for her baby boy! :)

Since it was still early when we finished visiting the stalls at the Baby Fair, Bebe & i then went to explore the new Changi Airport Terminal 3 which is only 1 stop away from the Singapore Expo.


As expected, the place is new, clean.... and refreshingly GREEN. Just a few mths back, over 30 couples came to T3 for the Paradise Wedding @ T3 Photography Contest whereby the most outstanding couple won an all expenses paid honeymoon to Paris, a pair of Celestial wedding bands, & $5000 cash!! Woahh!! How wonderful is dat!! :)


With slightly less than an hr left before our service starts, Bebe & i then quickly went down to Basement 2 where there were several more shops & eateries... & alot of ppl!! Seems like a public holiday is the best time for Singaporean families to bring their kids out to visit this new place together! ;)

At the Kopi foodcourt, Bebe then ordered a plate of Hokkien mee for us to share, & just before we left the airport, we also bought some bread & water for myself at NTUC Fairprice, just in case i get hungry later during service.

And dat marked the end of our 1st visit to T3! Perhaps we cld come again to explore the place further & for our meals, since our church services are held at Singapore Expo Max Pavilion anyway :D

Recently my LG Chocolate hp has been auto-shutting by itself.... grrrr.... i think it's protesting oredi.... hahaha.... so i'm planning to get a new hp soon.... most likely it's back to old-time-fav NOKIA brand..... and so far, this is the one i really like right nw.... NOKIA 6500!! :)


I think my Pru Flexiben is gonna come in handy again.... i cld possibly get this hp for FREE!!! :D

An Apple A Day :)

I got so full juz eating 1/4 of the apple! Had to make my poor Bebe finish the rest... *heehee!!*

Nw i juz can't wait to use it over this wkend!! :D

Alright folks, as promised, this is a pic of my pink lappy, & to make it look even more deliciously-pink, i've matched it with my Christmas gifts from Wee Ping -- a Hello Kitty mouse & speakers!! :)


And dat's not all.... Jingyi has bought for me a new Hello Kitty portable FM radio juz yday!! I had once seen it at her place & asked her where she got it, but i was too much of a miser to get it for myself -- & nw many mths later, she has gotten it for me instead!! Hehehe!!

I thought the Hello Kitty radio will look too lonely standing alone, so once again, i've taken a pic of it together with my other Hello Kitty treasures -- note dat the Hello Kitty handphone holder is also a new (or not so new anymore? hiakz!) item.


Yew Ping also juz mentioned dat i'll prolly paint my new hse PINK if i cld -- i tink dat's oredi in my plans :D

1st blog post for 2008!

Today is the very 1st entry for my new blogsite after a few mths’ break!! :p Finally decided to come back to blog again, since I kinda miss the bit of fun from uploading pixs and also updating my family & frens abt wat I’ve been up to!

Yday was a much anticipated day – cos Dell had delivered our new PINK laptop to our home! :) Bebe & I had bought the lappy at a much discounted price of only $1299 at the IT fair last Sun, not forgetting all the freebies (such as the laptop bag & optic mouse), as well as free upgrades of RAM, disk space and processor, etc. It was indeed a very good buy!

Anyways, right after our dinner, Bebe & I quickly rushed to open up the Dell box and setup our new lappy. The laptop cover was a flamingo pink…. bright pink! Bebe had willingly (I suppose!) agreed to buy a pink lappy, since he knows I love PINK so much!! We also wanted to test if the DVD/CD drive is working properly, so Bebe borrowed my “Serendipity” DVD to play it…. ended up we both watched the show until 11pm!! Dat was way past my bedtime lor (since I started sleeping very early recently), but afterall, “Serendipity” is my all-time fav movie with my fav actor John Cusack (cute!!), I shall gladly sacrifice my beauty sleep!! Hee!

Maybe I shld take a pic of my pink lappy tonight & upload it to show u all…. Can’t wait to go home soon to sayang my new toy!! :)
